So today marks 5-months of being unemployed, due to a company-wide layoff, where I was merely and abruptly shown the door; no severance, no obligatory “thanks for the great work”.

Google has released its list of the top search terms of 2014. Robin Williams came at number one followed by the Ebola and Malaysia airlines. 

Among the year's top searches were World Cup, ISIS and the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
